Born on September 22nd 1989 in Pavia, Paola Alma Gemelli has been approaching the world of art since childhood.
After high school, she continued hers studies at "Accademia Brera" in Milan, learned about the works of artists from the past and confronted with contemporary ones. These are intense years also marked by difficult and painful moments that feed the needed for Paola Alma Gemelli to confront the mystery of life and death.
"I love my life and this means looking for a dialogue with death because it is an integral part of our existence. My beginning and my end. We spend a lifetime learning to live but we never get prepared in the face of death. My art is an invitation to reflect on the existence of two indivisible figures that are part of what we are ”.
